This review may sound bias, but this is how we honestly felt with Wendy. We met her accidentally just checking out a condo and right away felt comfortable with her. Wendy McLeod assisted us with the purchase of a new home in Vancouver. While we are Canadians we currently reside in Singapore. Wendy not only was in regular contact with us about potential properties, she also forwarded housing statistics and relevant news on the market. She provided practical advice and always looked at the property from our perspective.  We had many requirements such as walkability (we don’t plan on having a car) and proximity to sea wall because we plan to retire in Vancouver.

Most importantly she understood that as overseas buyers we would not be able to view the property in person or deal easily with usual issues like arranging for a building inspection prior to purchase. She was our ‘eyes and ears’ on the ground; professional, prompt and proactive in identifying issues and resolving problems; and endlessly patient. We took almost 3 years to make a final decision after many close calls!  She even visited one property at different times to see if traffic in a lane backing onto the property was busy during the day because it was one block away from a popular commercial street.
